Short Update ...Back in Buenos Aires

Hello from Buenos Aires.

We arrived back to the city Sunday evening and spent a full day Monday visiting the one of the largest cattle auction market in the world based right in the heart of the city of 10 million people, and then visited a relatively young company started in 2002 to produce pre-mix minerals for beef and dairy cattle and ended the day visiting the Argentine Board of Trade. The last 15 minutes of trading got very exciting, as the traders made their last calls on wheat, corn, sunflowers, soybeans and sorghum. The students will be filling you in on specific details on these visits very soon and we hope to get you caught up on our last evening in the La Pampa State (Saturday evening), more photos as soon as we can, but finding wi-fi limited and slow service with it at some of our hotels.

Reached 95 degrees this afternoon in Buenos Aires hotter than it has been in the city for the past week, so we are definitely thinking of all of you dealing with the cold and storm in South Dakota area.

Tomorrow we travel by Ferry to Uruguay and will keep you posted as often as we can.

The students seem to be enjoying the trip and really interested in all facets of the culture here.
